seems to be known only from herbar spcimens o far, which was collected in
an altitude of 2500 to 2800 m above sea level. It is a small climbing plant with slightly puberulous stems, particularly around the nodes. The leaves are elliptic to ovate in shape, 7 to 11,5 cm long and 3,5 to 5,5 cm wide. The leaf base is cordate. The upper side is sparsely minutely hirsute, the underside almost glabrous. The petiole is 0,7 to 1,7 cm long and hispid. The flowers appear in groups of eight to twelf or more on an about 1 to 2 cm long, slender and glabrous pedicel, which again appear on an 0,6 to 1 cm long stem that is pubescent on one side. The flower tube is 2 to 5 cm long, nearly straight in shape and, as typical for the genus, glabrous on the outside and hirsute inside. The clour of the flowers cannot be exactly determined, but they may be white or light green and may show some purple spots. The lobes are dark purple in colour. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This species is obviously exclusively found in Bhutan. |
