This species belongs to the group of Ceropegia which have a very large and impressive tuber, this tuber is flatened and dented on the upper surface.

The stem is woody in the lower part and trunk-like. The species is a twining plant, the stems are very slim.

The leaves are very narrow lancet-shaped in the lower part of the stem, the upperside is greyish green, the underside is brownish. On the lower part of the stem the leaves are broader and greener.

The flowers are relatively large, the flower-tube is curved upwardly. They are greenish white, brownish pink 'breathed on', The petals are as long as the tube and show a light green colour.
