| This climbing
species has a very small subterranean tuber. The leaves are ovate, 5 to 6 cm long, ca. 2 cm broad and appear on a 1,5 to 2 cm long petiole. The leaf tip is abruptly pointed. The flowers are up to 4 cm large. They remind on the flowers of the asiatic Ceropegia mairei. The whole flower-tube is heavily mottled with reddish brown, the petals are very broad and close-knit at the end. They are reddish brown, light beige coloured in the lower part with a darker veining. |
