| This is one of
the very few species that can be found in the 'normal' trade. The
substrate is then often a much to wet potting compost and most of the
roots have died. Nevertheless the plants look still fine and are in bloom. The flowers themselves are very impressive, their appearance reminds on a parachute. The form could also be campared with a asian temple. A special local form can be found in trade under the name Ceropegia monteroie, this form has green flowers and the 'dormers' have purple 'curtains'. Sometimes even quite different species can be found in trade under this name. |
