| This species
forms small tubers, the stems have a greyish brown colour, as well as the
leaves. These are small, thick and pointed lancet-shaped. The flowers are white inside, brownish pink outside, somewhat darker striped, the petals form a kind of pagoda roof and are chocolate-brown. |
