| This species is
a weedy liana, which climbs through the dense vegetation in the forests of
her home island. The native names of this species are, in the respective languages of the ethnic groups on the island of Mayotte, Tendry ya niantsole (in Shimaore) and Vahy tsukurevaka (in Shibushi). Ceropegia mayottae is treated by some botanists as a synonym of the madagascan species Ceropegia humbertii. |
