distribution:

China: Guizhou, Sichuan, Yunnan

 
This species can be found in 1800 to 3000 m above sea level on limestone rocks as well as between low shrubs.

The mostly upright standing, but sometimes also twining, stems reach a length of only about 35 cm.
The leaves are only in the upper part of the stems and are 1 to 4 cm long and 0,4 to 1,6 cm wide.

The chinese name of this species is Jin que ma wei shen.
