| This species
belongs to the upright growing forms, which can be found in grasslands,
where it is very difficult to detect them among the surrounding vegetation
during the off-flowering season. The stem appears from a subterranean tuber and is between 30 and 50 cm in length, it is sometimes branched. The leaves are about 6 to 8 cm long and narrowly to very narrowly lancet-shaped. The flowers are very large, they reach a length of up to 12 cm, of which about the half is formed by the thread-like thin petals. |
