distribution:

South-Africa: Limpopo, North-West Province

 
This is an upright growing, not climbing plant with an subterranean tuber.

The leaves are grass-like, narrow lancet-shaped and between 8 and 20 cm in length.

The flowers appear on the top of the stem, are about 8 cm long and quite conspicuous. They show a very long, slim Flower-tube, which is entirely dark red, on the upper, widened part it is lighter with some dark spots. The petals are greenish to brownish, united at the tip and spiraled in their whole length.
