| This species is
now obviously extinct in India or at least extremely threatened. Its leaves are very norrowly lancet-shaped. The flowers of this species look quite slim. In the lower part they are slightly swollen, the flower-tube, by contrast, is very narrowly but widened upwardly. The whole flower-tube is coloured greenish white and decorated with smaller reddish brown spots. The petals are united and have a light green colouration, the made up about the half of the flowers length. The burmese name of this plant is U-ta-lon. |
