The members of this group can grow creeping as well as crambling.

The substrate should be very drained because wetness can kill these species very quickly.

The watering has to be very reserved, a sure instinct is needed, because on the other hand the substrate should not dry up completely.

The plants can be placed very sunny, only in the scorching houres at midday a bit shaddow is needed.

For reproduction cutting can be cut. These must be dried for about one week before they are put into a sandy substrate to get rooted.

The upright growing candelabrum-like species from the Canary Islands are relatively easy to cultivate as long as they are not overwatered.

The dimorphic species from Madagascar are not that easy to cultivate.
